It would be a lie to say that I am completely free of the problem, but I have made such a recovery from the bloody thing that the club doctor has said that I should be back training in about a fortnight and playing within the month.

Getting A Bit Of Spare Money For My Old Car

My car was on its last legs and I was looking to offload it but after the insulting offer of about £50 I decided to search about and see if I could find somewhere that was willing to offer an amount that was bit closer to the amount I had in my head. I had spent a great amount of money on different parts and modifications so the thought of basically giving it away to someone who would then make money off of my hard work did not sit well with me. I am sure it would not be that difficult to sell my car for more than I had been originally offered.


They sent a guy round to give the car a quick once over after i had given them a call. There were too many problems with the old car for me to beleive I could have her road worthy again.


I kept pointing out the more expensive features of my car to the guy as he was going around and checking it. The onboard fitted Bluetooth, it was Moto and plumbed in worth £40 in anyone’s money. The two in one was good quality too; it was Pana and had that blue screen display, really cool looking bit of kit. My new car had all the toys so these I could afford to lose, but I still wanted a good price.


After a bit of ‘tooing and froing’ with the bloke we finally were in agreement on what I think was a fair price for us both. I settled for £200 and we shook hands on the deal. He said that one of his trucks would be round to pick it up, couldn’t drive it, and I would get the cash in my mitt after pick up, smashing.


I knew exactly what the 200 quid was going on and I called to make sure that the car accessories shop had the blue halogens that I wanted. They did and I asked that they set them aside for me. Just then the fellow pulled up in his new van and loaded up my old car, it was sad to see it go but the cash in my pocket more than made up for that.


So there it is…I wanted to sell my car…they wanted scrap cars…deal done…they make money and I get nice new shiny blue headlight bulbs for my latest best new friend.

If anybody out there is reading this blog than take a suggestion and record the addresses that I am going to list. I was on line last night but missed your blog. My system went down and it is only today that I can get back into the groove with the rest of the world. My brother was tweeting away like mad last night about his most recent position in the Black Ops game, but he is blowing it out of his ass. I was well above that creep; he couldn’t hit a wall that way he shoots. My house building project is going ahead as intended after a lot of hard work. The whole thing was hanging in the balance as you know. I had that plot of land to clear and all of those trees to sort out. There were over fifty trees in that plot of land and many of them potential problems that I had to get trimmed back or uprooted.Then add to that the fact that the old building rubble and rubbish was still spread in all places and you get the picture. The site looks great and I was able to get my digger in to start stripping out for the foundations of the house. So back on track with the time and the cost was, well not cheap, but for I didn’t mind for they have saved me a few grand by doing it so well.
